I would like to thank you for your interest in the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust and welcome you to our website.

 

The Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust established in response to the Bishop’s visionary approach to Catholic education across the Leeds Diocese. Originally the Trust consisted of three schools geographically spread across the Local Authority areas of Kirklees and Calderdale. The Trust was ‘relaunched’ in 2019 with a new Board of Trustees and the first Central team employees were appointed in the spring of 2020. The Trust has grown rapidly and now consists of 15 schools and has established a reputation for an effective and supportive approach to improving the quality of catholic education.

 

We are, first and foremost, a Catholic Trust, we have a clearly stated mission to provide an outstanding faith based education, whatever the challenges, with the life, teachings and person of Jesus Christ at the centre of everything we do. We recognise and believe that this is best achieved through collaborative working, sharing of best practice and a proactive outward facing ethos to strive to be at the forefront of national best practice. This doesn’t happen by accident, our mission document and strategic plan outlines a carefully thought- out approach to sharing best practice, effective challenge and support from the central education and operations teams. We have invested heavily in high-quality training and professional development and our subject forums are recognised by Headteachers and teaching staff as providing the drive and enthusiasm behind the improvements seen to date.

 

We are truly blessed to be a family of schools which, with Christ at the heart of all that we do, shares a common mission to prepare our young people for a wholesome, fulfilling, active life in the future.
